Our client is a premium women’s fashion retailer, home to two distinctive womenswear brands. With a London-based design studio and flagship stores in both the UK and the US, they create beautifully crafted collections sold directly to customers across multiple countries via catalogues and online. Their focus is simple: exceptional quality, thoughtful design, and a great customer experience. They are now seeking a Junior Product Development Assistant to be based in their Loughborough based head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands on experience across the full product cycle. 

Junior Product Development Assistant - The Role:
•    Reporting to the Product Development Department Manager you’ll play a key role in helping to bring the collections to life. 
•    Supporting the development process from first fit through to pre-production
•    Measuring samples and assisting with fittings
•    Communicating product updates and comments to suppliers
•    Working to critical paths to ensure deadlines are met
•    Maintaining accurate product and seasonal tracking information
•    Assisting with general admin to keep the department running smoothly
•    Supporting photoshoot sample preparation when required
•    Collaborating with suppliers and warehouse teams to uphold quality standards

Junior Product Development Assistant - The Candidate:
•    A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
•    Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
•    A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
•    Strong communication skills and confidence working in a team
•    Flexibility to support different tasks as business needs 
•    Keen to learn in areas such as pre-production approvals and problem-solving with suppliers, labelling and packaging compliance and confident supplier communication
•    Able to take ownership of product areas and independent working
