Packaging Artworker

Our client are market leaders in the design and supply of Hosiery, Underwear & Loungewear to global retailers and brands. They have a passion for great product design and a reputation for taking trends, along with the latest technologies and developing product portfolios to match a brand or retailer’s core customer base. They now have an opportunity for a Packaging Artworker to produce high quality, print ready artwork for their retail packaging. 

Packaging Artworker - The Role: 

• Interpreting briefs and providing packaging design from creative to final print ready artwork.
• Create precise and detailed artwork, using technical drawings, cutter guides and established print specifications.
• Re-touching of product photography, editing graphics for websites and social media channels.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and elevate the design further by using elements based on appropriate project requirements.
• Work with external suppliers and overseas printers to ensure that all artwork is printed and produced to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging design techniques.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for packaging campaigns.

Packaging Artworker - The Candidate: 

• Proven experience as a packaging artworker within a print or packaging focused environment.
• Must have strong Adobe Creative Suite skills - in particular Illustrator and Photoshop. InDesign is a bonus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a genuine passion for high quality work.
• Strong communication skills to be able to liaise internally as well as with the factories.
• A positive proactive attitude. 
• Happy to work in house full time.
